The SC-series horizontal screw‑discharge sedimentation centrifuge is a solid–liquid separation device developed by our company, drawing on years of experience in solid–liquid separation engineering. It is suitable for processing materials across multiple industries, including municipal sludge, food processing, and fine chemicals. Featuring a modular design, the equipment optimizes the drum’s length‑to‑diameter ratio, the screw configuration, and the differential speed control system, enabling fully automated continuous operation—feeding, separating, and discharging solids—while maximizing solid dryness and minimizing solid content in the liquid phase.

  • Working principle


    The SC-series centrifuge is driven by a main motor that spins both the drum and the screw conveyor at high speed, generating a stable centrifugal force field. A differential-speed system—either mechanical or hydraulic—precisely controls the speed difference between the drum and the screw, as well as the discharge torque. The material to be separated enters the drum continuously via the feed pipe; under the action of high centrifugal force, the denser solid particles rapidly settle and adhere to the inner wall of the drum. The screw conveyor, operating at a set differential speed, axially conveys the settled solids toward the discharge port at the tapered end, enabling continuous discharge. Meanwhile, the lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring along the inner wall and steadily overflows from the large‑end overflow port, thereby achieving uninterrupted separation of solids and liquids throughout the entire process.
    The entire process is automatically controlled by a PLC, enabling real-time adjustment of differential speed, torque, and feed rate to ensure stable, high‑efficiency separation performance under varying operating conditions.
